Introduction
For first-time users of the SMS-Act verification code platform, the process may seem unfamiliar. In fact, the entire operation is very simple and intuitive. This tutorial will guide you step-by-step on how to apply for a temporary phone number and receive SMS verification codes on the SMS-Act platform, helping you successfully complete registration processes for various websites or apps.

- Register an Account: Go to the SMS-Act official website to register an account.
- Account Top-up: Ensure your account has sufficient balance. The platform will deduct a certain number of points (beans) in advance for applying for temporary phone numbers.
Choose Registration Service
Step 1
After logging into your SMS-Act account, use the search box in the service list on the homepage to find the platform you need to register. For example, enter "Google", and the system will display multiple options, such as:
- Google Voice: For Google virtual phone;
- Google YouTube Gmail: For registering Google accounts (including Gmail, YouTube, etc.). Choose the corresponding service type based on your registration purpose. This tutorial uses "Google YouTube Gmail" as an example.
Select Country or Region
Step 2
After clicking on the selected service, the platform will display a list of countries or regions that support the service. It is recommended to choose countries ranked higher (such as Indonesia, Russia, Kazakhstan, etc.), as these numbers usually have higher verification success rates. Assuming "Indonesia" is selected, after clicking, the system will automatically deduct the required points from your account and assign you a temporary number (including country code), with the status changing to "Waiting for verification code".
Register on Target Platform

Open the website or app you want to register (such as Gmail, YouTube, etc.). Fill in the phone number as prompted, entering the number assigned by the SMS-Act platform. ⚠️ Notes:
- Some websites/apps have already automatically added the country code before the phone number input box, do not fill it in again;
- For example, if the input box already has "+62" (Indonesia country code), remove "+62" from the assigned number and only fill in the subsequent number part.
Wait to Receive SMS Verification Code
Step 4
After submitting the phone number, the target platform will send a verification code SMS to that number. Return to the SMS-Act page, wait a few seconds to one or two minutes, and the verification code will appear in the status bar corresponding to the number. If not received within 2 minutes, try refreshing the page. If the verification code is still not received after more than 3 minutes, the number may be restricted by the target platform's risk control. It is recommended to manually cancel the number, and the system will refund the deducted points. Then apply for a new number.
Enter Verification Code to Complete Registration
Step 5
When the SMS-Act platform successfully receives the SMS verification code, it will be displayed on the page. Return to the registration page, fill in the verification code in the corresponding position, and complete the registration process. ⚠️ Some platforms may prompt due to security risk control restrictions:
- "This number cannot be used";
- "This number has already been registered";
- "Verification code error"; Even if you have successfully received the verification code, registration may still fail.

This service is recommended only for temporary testing or short-term account registration. For long-term use, please use your own bound real phone number.
